Who we are
FootyPredictor AI ("we") runs this app and website. You can contact us at footypredictorai@yahoo.com.
What we collect
Your email address and a password (stored securely, never in plain text). Your display name. Your score predictions, points and the tables you join. Your Last Man Standing games, the join codes you use, and your team picks in them. Your plan and subscription status. The questions you ask the AI assistant and its answers. Any feedback you choose to give us, such as star ratings, ticked options and comments. Basic technical logs such as the time of requests. We never see your card details; Apple and Google handle payments.
Why we use it
To run your account, show your predictions and tables, apply the limits of your plan, answer your questions, keep the service secure and fix problems. We do this to provide the service you asked for and for our legitimate interest in running it safely.
Feedback and your AI questions
Giving feedback is optional. We read your feedback answers and the questions people ask the AI assistant to understand what players like, what needs improving and what to build next. Only the app owner can see them, and they are stored against your account. We do not publish them or sell them. A copy of each feedback answer is emailed to us, without your email address or name. If you delete your account, your feedback answers stay but are no longer linked to you. If you would like a particular answer removed, email footypredictorai@yahoo.com.
Who we share it with
Companies that help us run the app: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (the email service that delivers a copy of your feedback to us), and Anthropic (the AI assistant: your questions are sent to it to produce answers, so please do not put personal details in your questions). Apple and Google process subscription payments. Football data providers receive no personal data about you. Other players see your display name, never your email. In Last Man Standing, the other players in your game can see which team you picked for a game week once they have locked in their own pick for that week. A private game can only be joined with its code, so only share the code with people you want to play with. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Optional WhatsApp group
We run an optional WhatsApp group where players can ask questions. Joining is entirely optional and you do not need it to use the app. If you join, the other members and the group admins will see your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and anything you post. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to your use of it. We do not link your WhatsApp details to your FootyPredictor AI account. Please do not share personal details in the group. You can leave the group at any time.
Cookies and tracking
We use your browser storage only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. You can delete your account on the Account page, which removes your personal data from our systems.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email footypredictorai@yahoo.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk).
Overseas transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. We use providers that apply recognised safeguards for this.
